Progression Session II

The Jackson Hole Babe Force Scholarship Program is designed to offer financial support to women who want to succeed in the mountains. With your help through our fundraising efforts, we have raised enough funding to offer several types of scholarships this year. This application provides up to $500 in funding for an advanced avalanche education course of the recipient’s choosing. Recipients must have previously completed at least the Level 1 Avalanche course.

This scholarship is an opportunity to learn critical mountain safety and advance your snow-travel knowledge to the next level, for personal or professional reasons. Recipients can use this scholarship to complete their Avy 2, or professional/guide avalanche certifications.

To be considered, please fill out the following application. The JHBF board will evaluate all applications. If selected for a scholarship, we want to hear your story. The JHBF will require one blog post and pictures so we can document and brag about your snow knowledge. If you have any questions, please email

***The deadline for applications is November 26, 2018.***
