The Jackson Hole Babe Force Scholarship Program is designed to offer financial support to women who want to succeed in the mountains. With your help through our fundraising efforts, we have raised enough funding to offer several types of scholarships this year. This application is for a spot in the "Keely’s Ski Camp for Girls," a ski racing camp in Mount Hood, Oregon in the summer of 2019.
At Keely’s Ski Camp, many of the all-female coaches are recently retired from the U.S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA, and FIS). The unique experience at Keely’s Camp comes from the coaches being able to execute ideal ski technique for athletes to learn from. The 5:1 athlete-to-coach ratio provides individualized coaching and feedback for each athlete.
This scholarship includes airport pick-up and drop-off, six nights of lodging, three meals a day, five lift tickets, coaching by an all-female staff, training, video review, and 24-hour supervision for junior athletes (total value is approximately $2,000.00). Please note that travel to Mt. Hood, Oregon is not included in this scholarship and the recipient is responsible for coordinating and financing travel to Mt. Hood.
Please visit keelyscamp.com/summer-camps for more information on this camp. This scholarship is for any session of the ski racing camp that works for the recipient’s schedule, but the session must be reserved with Keely promptly after the scholarship recipient announcement.
To be considered, please fill out the following application. The JHBF board will evaluate all applications. The winner will receive one fully paid spot in 2019 Keely’s Ski Camp. In return, we want to hear your story. If selected for a scholarship, the JHBF will require one blog post and pictures so we can document and brag about your experience. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
